Course Description

Power Walking is a brilliant form of gentle exercise that is great for both body and mind. To get out of the classroom and into the fresh air at the end of the day can relieve some of the stresses of the day.

Aims of the course:

  • To allow pupils to get our of the classroom and experience a different form of learning.
  • To help relieve the pressure of school life by being put on the fresh air.
  • To promote health and well-being.

Skills you will learn:

  • Road safety and responsibility when out walking in larger groups
  • The importance of daily exercise to improve their health and well-being.

What you will need:

We will be walking around the local area so sensible waking shoes are needed with a coat for the rainier days.
