Course Description

This workshop will offer you the opportunity to work with Yas, Chris and the team at CrossFit.

This course teaches you the basic skills you will require to tackle the daily WOD (Workout Of the Day) or to take part in the group sessions. At CrossFit Clitheroe, you will get the safest, most effective workout, and become part of the CrossFit Clitheroe community before you start your first group class.

You will develop your knowledge and techniques to be safe when using the equipment.

 

This workshop is subsidised, however there is a parental cost of £3 per workshop.

Aims of the course:

  1. To explore different types of aerobics/fitness classes at CrossFit.
  2. To improve cardio-vascular fitness and general health.
  3. To become confident with fitness programmes and improve general lifestyles.

Skills you will learn:

  1. Knowledge- define, identify, outline and select
  2. Comprehension- explain, extend and interpret
  3. Application- demonstrate, prepare and modify

What you will need:

  1. Appropriate gym clothes and footwear.
  2. Drinks and maybe a healthy snack. There maybe a charge for the classes.
